French supplier NB Consulting has developed a new fruit and vegetable-derived ingredients that tap into fierce trends in the nutraceuticals market: Sinetrol, a fat burner derived from citrus , grapefruit and guarana extract .

Managing Director of NB Consulting Dr Constantin Dallas , says that Sinetrol has been tested for its lipolytic in human adipocytes in a ex vivo clinical trial at the BioAlternatives laboratory, by measuring the release of free fatty acids.
Sinetrol is a patented synergistic extract made from red orange, orange, grapefruit and guarana extract with total fruit biophenols of 60-80 per cent, flavanones 10-20 per cent HPLC, and caffeine 1-4 per cent.
Human adipocytes from 35-years-old women were collected and treated on the same day with either Sinetrol, a placebo, or 12 percent guarana.
The Sinetrol was seen to increase lipolysis (release of free fatty acid) by 600 per cent more than the placebo, and 200 per cent more than the guarana alone. The effect is attributed to the ingredient inhibiting cathecol-methyl transferase and phosphodiestrerase.
In southern European countries such as France, Spain and Italy, fat burners and weight maintenance products take up a good deal of space on pharmacy shelves.

This is not the first partnership for the two companies, as NEC has launched other lines in the booming markets of China and Taiwan.
"Their strong technical support capability is extremely important when introducing a novel ingredient into China's very regulated market," said Kevin Hu, president of Wedar Biotechnology.

崴達Wedar Nutrasource 與美國Natinal Enzyme Company 的合作關係開始於 2004 年, 2005年開始, National Enzyme Company (簡稱NEC )公司 開始一連串與崴達的長期何況關係, 2005年雙方首度參展 Food Ingredient Asia , 也是雙方將 當初剛出爐的 TNO Study 與 nattozime 兩個重要的酵素產品介紹進入大中華區市場, NEC 的 研發總監 Dr Rohit Medekar 並於 2005年 Food Ingredient Asia , 2006年 CPHI 兩度來到上海參加演講, Wedar 的總經理 Mr Kevin Hu 也於 2005 年 PCHI , 2006 年 CPHI 舉辦演講, 將NEC 公司75年來發展的產品介紹給廣大的中國產業客戶
兩年前於荷蘭獨立的研究機構 TNO 所進行的一連串臨床研究是目前 NEC 公司推出的新一代酵素產品BioCore 系列的科學根據 , 根據 TNO 所研究的資料, NEC 公司開發了一連串重要的新產品,稱之為 BioCore 系列, 首度於 2006年的 supply side 展會與美國產業見面, 今年歐洲的 Vitafood 則是進入歐洲市場的新舉, 崴達並與NEC 在日內瓦會面交換了關於 BioCore 產品系列在中國市場的發展計畫
將於6 月 19-21 於上海舉辦的 世界製藥展 CPHI 上海展, 是崴達首度將 BioCore 系列產品介紹給 中國客戶的機會, BioCore 產品目前分為兩大方向, 其一是基礎的營養系列, 包括 BioCore Carbo ( 醣類消化), BioCore Lipo (幫助脂肪消化 ), BioCore Pro (幫助蛋白質消化 ), 以及一個綜合型的 BioCore Optimum .
另一大類是針對特殊的機能 性所發展的特殊酵素, 有針對乳糖不耐症的 BioCore Dairy, 另外還有 有針對heartburn 情況的BioCore AR, 以及小朋友專用的 BioCore Kid等產品,崴達都將於本年上海的CPHI 對產業客戶發表, 並開始大中華區市場包括中國, 香港, 台灣, 以及部份東南亞地區客戶的服務與推廣工作

這回在日內瓦見到Mr Steve English , 他濃厚的蘇格蘭腔, 標準的UK 血統, 平常打電話還真有時候會讓我聽不太懂他的英文, 面對面談總是好, 特別帶一瓶薇達的活力骨膠原給他看, 他馬上把kolla2 擺到展位去展示, 讓歐洲客戶看到他們的產品在亞洲也有做成產品
Kolla2 是很特別的東西, 來自無毒害無病源雞的胸骨萃取, 這工藝在全球沒有幾家在做, 而且這幾家都已經聯合起來了, AIDP 負責北美行銷, Wedar Nutrasource 負責中國台灣, Five Continent Enterprise 負責歐洲市場
Kolla2 成份可以說是集所有骨膠原健康之大成, 市面上常見 5 合 一, 10合一, 其實是人工添加, 但 Kolla2 是天然提取就已經含有天然 glucosamine , chondroitin , collagen , HA , Ca ...... 這樣的提取比 例是天然成份比例, 且全部都單一來源, 把 Kola2 和鈣, Vitamin D, serrazime , celadrin , MSM....合成複方, 又是幾個常見在美國的產品成份複方

鍶Strontium屬於微量元素的一員，是骨骼中天然的成分（骨中含量約100mg/g），經由腸道吸收後在骨骼中作用，與骨骼健康有一定的關連性。以前提到維護骨骼健康最先想到的就是鈣、鎂、鋅、銅…等元素，而忽略了鍶，在國外已有主成分為鍶的骨骼健康營養補充品。
鍶的相關研究在1950～1960年代就有動物與臨床的研究，鍶在藥界使用上已相當普遍成效也都很不錯。2004年發表於英格蘭的醫藥期刊中建議以鍶製品來治療骨質疏鬆症。一般認為鍶能促進骨骼生長發育、降低心血管病死亡率、治療骨質疏鬆、減少骨折機率、預防蛀牙、治療心血管疾病。
以1649位更年期婦女為實驗對象的一份大型研究顯示，在同樣補充鈣、維生素D的情況下，發現同時有補充鍶者其骨質三年後竟有8.1％的增加，這對每年平均流失1％骨質的情況而言是令人感到驚訝的。
目前已有保健廠商能由天然的植物中同時取得鈣、鎂等對骨骼有益的成分，與高達七十多種的天然礦物質，當然包括了鍶這個元素，這樣的營養補充品對未來骨骼保健的輔助有著良好的加分作用。

根據西班牙研究發現橄欖油中的多酚成分也可能具有預防幽門螺旋桿菌(Helicobacter pylori)感染。幽門螺旋桿菌為革蘭氏陰性桿菌，寄居於人體胃部，聚集在靠近胃黏膜層的部分，細菌會分泌鹼性亞摩尼亞(用來保護細菌不被胃酸殺死)，是人類已知的生物中，少數能活在強酸環境之下的。會產生引起發炎反應的酵素，破壞胃黏膜原有的保護機轉、誘發胃酸分泌，是引發胃潰瘍、胃炎的病因。
研究的方法是以試管實驗的方式來進行，結果發現初萃橄欖油中的有效成分～多酚類化合物能穩定的留存在胃的酸性環境。而且半數的化合物種類可以擴散進胃酸溶液中發揮抗幽門螺旋桿菌的功效。

If you are a service business (close to 90% are) and your business is growing -- promoting from within will improve moral, save time, and make you money.People want to do a good job for employers and customers. They work hard and are loyal -- promoting them is a big boost in self confidence and a big reward.So how do you go about getting the best result? Once you have made a decision to promote them, prepare:
Make a list of your reasons to promote the staff member?
Do a skills, strengths and areas of improvement inventory.
Review the job responsibilities and compare the skills, abilities and expectations of the job to your answers to the first two questions. Where are the gaps? List them. If you still feel confident in promoting the staff member -- set up a meeting.At the meeting be open and share your list of strengths, skills and questions.Identify the reason for your decision, identify concerns and areas of improvement you expect. Then ask them what they think and if they want the job. This step is very important -- a genuine emotional buy in is essential. A reluctant employee will still have a hard time turning down a promotion due to the prestige, money and status that typically accompanies the promotion. I have seen internal promotions fail for this very reason.Make sure that the persons personal life are in order and will be able to handle the extra responsibility and stress. Pushing a reluctant employee forward to solve a business problem is wrong and it will just end up costing you lost time, momentum and money

this is a very unique picture , the VW Touareg parking in front of a chinese ancient gate , creating a very contrasting effect of modern and ancient chinese atmosphere. VW Touareg is my personal car since 2005 , this is a multi-functional LSUV . I initially decide to go for a Porsche Cayenne but later I decide to choose the more conservative , low profile VW with the similar looking , similar function , better interior and cheaper price.

2007年廣州美博會
廣州國際美容美髮化妝用品博覽會（廣州國際美博會），由中國廣東省美容美髮行業協會主辦，亞洲博聞有限公司（香港亞太區美容展覽會主辦單位）、義大利博羅尼亞展覽集團BolognaFiere（義大利Cosmoprof國際美容展主辦單位）協辦，崴達將參與此次第26屆於2007年5月5～8號在廣州中國出口商品交易會流花路展館的盛會。

今年(2007)在 中國市場的第一個展會, 我們選定南方的廣州, 一方面廣州是南方最好最大的保健美容市場, 我們每年都會參加, 其次是廣州的朋友告訴我們這個展會非常不錯, 我們以前也沒有參加過, 這一回我們將由上海拉過去參加, 台灣的同事也會支援, 許多的客戶都已經通知會過來捧場, 雖然是大拜拜一場, 做生意就是越熱鬧越好
今年除了展出保健品, 我們也將展出 keratec 平台的許多角蛋白與wedar 的多酚系列保養品, 目前 多酚館在臺灣展店已經有台北 誠品與高雄夢時代, 中國市場目前還沒有展店計劃, 不過相關產品的開發也已經陸續進行之中
